Do you have Ownership and Leadership Experience Outside of Coaching?

Yes, I have 15 years of experience as a Founder and Operator of two firms. I also held several leadership roles such as Vice President of Sales, President, and CEO of a public company.

In my first business, Advantage Talent, my partner and I helped our clients with staffing (contractors) as well as contract to perm, and contingent direct hire search. Our focus was in the Metro Atlanta area focused on Accounting and Finance across all industries.

I established Diamond Executive Search and focused on plant and corporate leadership roles, primarily in the automotive supplier manufacturers. During this time, I moved my services to exclusive and then co-tainer (shared risk). I filled 90% of of my searches.

Before this, I held several leadership roles with a publicly held at a wholesale distributor. We grew revenue from $30M to $1B. started as a sales person, became the first Vice President of Sales, Executive Vice President, President, and CEO. My key accomplishments were Growing the sales team as Vice President from 30 to 130, which took our revenues from $30M when I joined the company to $500M; helping raise $60M in a secondary public offering; completing four acquisitions, including two in Latin America; implementing Sarbanes-Oxley; and developing relationships with Key Suppliers such as Seagate Technology, Intel, HP, Motorola, and many others.
