Twenty years ago, I stood at the helm of a billion-dollar corporation. But when faced with demands from the Board that clashed with my values, I chose integrity over compromise. This decision led to a lengthy legal battle and a worldwide non-compete that forced me to rethink my career trajectory.

 Guidance came from an unexpected source – a family friend, Art, who introduced me to the world of recruiting. This advice led me to establish Advantage Talent, with my business partner, navigating through the economic downturns of 2008 and 2010 and adapting our business model to meet the evolving challenges.

Eight years in, my journey took another turn. My partner chose a different path, and after a buy-out, I founded Diamond Executive Search, focusing on leadership roles in the Midwest and South. Yet, even with success, a day of unexpected setbacks made me question everything. This was the catalyst for shifting to exclusive and retained business, leading to a 90% search fulfillment rate and providing me the time to give back to my community.

Still, something was missing – the sense of team and community. An opportunity with a family-retained search firm opened a new door, eventually leading me to a peer advisory organization, where I found my true calling in coaching and facilitating peer advisory groups. But as COVID-19 hit, I had to pivot again, leading to private coaching and, ultimately, focusing on the staffing and recruiting niche.

My journey has taught me the power of resilience and adaptability and the importance of finding your true calling. Now, I'm here to help you navigate your path, leveraging my experiences to guide you in growing your staffing and recruiting business, ensuring success, and achieving the work-life balance you deserve.
